THE DANGERS OF
KEEPING RAMS!!
Although I love the sheep, I DO NOT encourage keeping a
Ram as a pet. (Even if you have bottle fed him.)
This is a very dangerous thing to do and there are many
terrible stories of injuries that could have been avoided if
only common sense was used.
Rams can be very dangerous and aggressive during the
breeding season. Even the most gentle bottle fed baby can
turn on you during this time and it is not worth taking the
chance.
I have special pens for the Rams and their Ewes during
breeding season and always take special care in watching
my back during feeding.
"ISSAC HAYES" LF RAM B3H 4N
|
"Issac-Hayes"- is a black
badgerface has a nice calm
personality,beautiful wide set horns
He is 1/2 AI out of a NOI
daughter and a HELI son.
He is a very large Ram lamb
coming to the farm at 41/2 months
old and weighing about 110 lbs.
Thrilled to have this spectacular
ram, I wanted a ram of his size and
build to put with some of the
larger ewes. He also has beautiful
fleece !!!
Issac-Hayes is still keeping his
gentle personality.
Issac-Hayes is just so big but still so
gentle, He has such nice confirmation and
wool.

and read his miracle
story.
He has some silvering on the tips of his
wool like a "Silver Lining" and a few
white hairs on the end of his nose this
could be some indication of spotting
because he did have some spotted
babies this season.
